Big South Fork, Daniel Boone National Forrest, Red River Gorge

We were able to get out for a few nights and hike some miles around the northern area of Big South Fork, just a few hours away from Nashville. Our stakes held up nicely with our new tent we cobbled together using the Kensho2 tent design. We did the Yamacraw loop which tracks the Sheltowee Trail for most of the way, a trail we home to complete one day. The loop featured numerous rock shelters and Kentuckys tallest waterfall!
